Poetry is the prose of everyday life, gone through a sieve. It is a form of art where silence and spaces of apparent nothingness actually deeply matter. It is, arguably, the most difficult form of writing. It is not simply a set of words one can read in 60 seconds. Rather, it is the textual atomization of our shared humanities. During these chaotic times, learning to write poetry can bring structure, control, calmness, and healing to your child's life.
